Photography Workshops for 2012

Photography workshops will be scheduled for three days and will be a combination of hands-on in field shooting and classroom "digital darkroom."  For me, photography is a passion and I am continually learning and striving to get that next best photo.  In these three day workshops we will be focusing on the fundamentals of powerful composition and dramatic light at spectacular locations that I know very well after years of photgraphing in these locations.  During the day we will scout out and work on foreground compositions and spend classroom time working on pictures in the "digital darkroom" using Photoshop and other software plug-ins.  We will work on your "Raw" file to print, using and learning about adjustment layers, masking layers and image blending techniquess.  These intense, hands-on workshops will be limited to five participants and can be reserved with a 50% deposit, use code "50deposit"  to secure now with remaining 50%  due by the workshop.
Please contact me by e-mail for further details and list the workshop of interest,  I look forward to seeing you soon.

Olympic National Park Photography Tour October 5th-7th 2012 photo

Olympic National Park Photography Tour October 5th-7th 2012

The Olympic National Park is located on the NW Coast of  Washington and provides the longest undeveloped coast in the contiguous United States.  ONP has some of the most superb and rugged coast line around with spectacular sea stacks and rock formations to discover.  Over the years, I quickly determined shooting the coast to be one of the most difficult, challenging and rewarding locations to photograph compared to any other landscape photography.  There are so many variables that come into play from coastal weather, flux in tides and the ever changing shoreline whose rocks & sand cover or reveal new opportunitues for compositions.  Over the past few years, I have spent countless hours exploring the NW Coast line matching up the best tides to the many beaches available to shoot.  October 5th-7th will provide some ideal tides for the locations I have planned for us to shoot.  This three day workshop will be based out of Forks, WA. and will be limited to five participanats.  Use code "50deposit"  to secure now with the remaining 50% due by the workshop.  For further details, specifically about this photography workshop, please feel free to contact me by e-mail.
Look forward to seeing you soon on the NW Coast!
